Poojas For Hindraf Five

A special Pooja was held at Ladang Jenderata, Div. 3, Tk Intan, Perak at 7.30pm - 13/1/2008. About hundred plus members of the public attended the prayers followed by a speech by Gana's brother. All went well, except for the speech which totally went out of context, this guy looks as though he is under threat and fear for something, diverted his topic from talking about Hindraf to Hinduism, Bhagawadgita, poojas, etc, etc. It was boring....he did not touch anything about Hindraf's past, present or the future. All those members present were hungry for information but nothing came out.

Therefore in future, organizers of such pooja's should not fear for anybody, they must be able to brief members of the public about the fight by the Indians via Hindraf and make them understand, call them to stay united throughout the fight until the 18 point demands are met. I think the presence of a police patrol car which arrived shortly after prayers and waited beside the temple venue could have been the cause for the speaker to change topic. Any way, when the second speaker continued the same topic, I excused and drove back to PJ. The photos taken at the gathering is attached below :-
