Dengue Fewer : A possible remedy in Siddhar Medication

Dengue Fever (in tamil : ratha murivu kaichal) is common nowadays in urban life, there is no known medicine so far claiming 100% cure. Patients are usually kept in isolation in hospital wards and given ordinary fever medicines and IV drips. Patients are made to wait for the body immune system to build up resistance against dengue and fight its own battle. In severe cases blood transfusions are administered to help built platelets which may continue to drop. Many succumbed to this illness.

In Indian Siddhar Medicine there is a possible remedy that could save life and cure dengue fewer. Simplified method is :-

Get some young papaya shoots or in tamil kolunthu pappali ilaigal or  illangkuruthu (not leaf) cleaned and pound it then squeezed the juice out with a clean white cloth to filter.  Make 2 table spoon (30 ml/1 fl oz) of this raw juice and mix with 1 table spoon (15 ml/0.5 fl oz) of pure honey and give it twice daily after food for 2 days for adults and for children half the dose. It is heaty so avoid over dose. Make sure it is given only for two days if self prescribed.  It can be taken together with modern medicine provided the patient is put to strict vegetarian diet. (Restrictions for married women is to avoid pregnancy for at least 6 months and for men should stay away from sexual relationship for the same period to prevent disability and premature pregnancy once after relieved from this ailment).
