Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar today said that the police were not taking sides with anyone in the ongoing residents' clash with highway concessionaire Grand Saga.
"Police are not political. They are here to ensure law and order is maintained," he said while commenting on the police action to disperse the residents with water cannon and tear gas on May 8.
